How it Began

In the winter of 2014, God planted an indestructable seed - a dream for a social services program that provided something for everyone. This program would be unique in the sea of supportive housing and homeless recovery services programs. Since 2014, the idea of Soul Bridge Foundation grew into an abundant vision where God does the heavy lifting and His servants help provide for His people.

Already, this program has been deemed overly-ambitious by people who cannot see the value of their fellow humans. Here at Soul Bridge Foundation, we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7) and we serve an Almighty God who does things that seem impossible by man’s strength.

Soul Bridge Foundation began with one person with an unquenchable passion that has been tested by fire - honed, strengthened, and perfected. While we believe that no person (besides Jesus Christ) is perfect, His perfect will takes place for those who can lean on Him for deliverance.

Mission

Soul Bridge Foundation exists to provide equity-based, trauma-informed care, services, and housing for individuals and families impacted by long-term adversity—such as homelessness, domestic violence, incarceration, and human trafficking.

Rooted in faith and guided by Christ, we work to break cycles of intergenerational trauma and lead people into a place of healing, stability, and community connection. Our mission is to empower each person with the support, skills, and spiritual guidance needed to thrive—building a foundation for abundant living and home ownership.

“For the honor of Your name, O Lord, forgive my many, many sins. Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.”

— Psalm 25:11–13

Vision

Our vision is to end the lasting effects of trauma on individuals, families, and communities by guiding those we serve toward healing, restoration, and self-sufficiency—ultimately empowering them to walk in spirit-led purpose and skillful home ownership.

Just as Christ leads as the Good Shepherd, we strive to build a compassionate community where lives are rebuilt, hope is restored, and generational change becomes possible.

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.”

— Hebrews 10:23–25

Values

  • “Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years…came up behind him [Jesus]. She touched the fringe of His robe, for she thought, ‘If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.’ Jesus turned around and when he saw her he said, ‘Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.” -Matthew 10:20-22

  • “Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” - Romans 12:10

  • “People who walk with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.” -Proverbs 10:9

  • “But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.” -Luke 22:26

  • “There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.” -1 Corinthians 12:5-7
